Performance Standard Alignment Project (Woodside Energy Ltd)

Argonautica were engaged in 2008, and again in 2010 to review the existing facility performance standards for FPSO COSSACK PIONEER, FPSO NGANHURRA, FPSO NORTHERN ENDEAVOUR and FPSO OKHA in order to author a new suite of performance standards to meet regulatory requirements.

Technical Integrity is the management of the Integrity Barriers consisting of SCEs (Safety Critical Elements), the failure of which could cause or contribute substantially to a MAE (Major Accident Event) or purpose of which is to prevent or limit the effect of an MAE.  It is therefore critical to identify and define the performance required (through performance standards) of the SCEs for a facility.

The work involved close liaison with the respective Technical Authorities for each FPSO, facilitating various workshops to ensure alignment with the facility safety case and environmental plan and obtaining approvals with Lloyds Register Classification Society and NOPSEMA.

Following development of the performance standards, we then were asked to author a suite of Technical Integrity maintenance procedures, ensuring alignment against applicable performance criteria and implement changes to the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
