Craig Harrison

Craig Harrison is a qualified Chief Marine Engineer and Director of Argonautica, with 19 years international offshore experience in the shipping and oil / gas industry. He has previously worked for BHP Transport, Bureau Veritas, BP (UK), and Shell (UK) and is an active member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology and Australasian Institute of Marine Surveyors.
Throughout his career he has managed and operated a range of oil and gas tankers for oil majors, both at sea and during drydock periods. During his time with BP, Craig made the transition ashore as Operations Superintendent and within a short time founded Argonautica Pty Ltd and moved into full time consultancy in the maritime and offshore oil and gas sector. He has since contracted in a variety of marine operational and technical roles including FPSO Operations Superintendent for the Basker-Manta-Gummy project in the Bass Strait, and Principal Marine Consultant to the Attorney General's Department - Territories West Division.
Craig’s depth of experience and industry knowledge enables him to ensure that ‘best practice’ is attained whilst maintaining operational efficiency. With deep-industry knowledge and international contacts, Craig brings an enthusiasm for working in the marine and offshore industry, and a desire to deliver exceptional service.
