Matthew Cannon

Marine Consultant

Matthew Cannon is a qualified Marine Engineer with 15 years experience in the shipping and offshore industry.

Experience enhanced by thirteen years in the Royal Australian Navy.

From his sea-going career, Matthew was promoted to Engineering and Navy Fleet Supervisor roles, and made the transition to consultancy with Argonautica in 2007.  During his time at Argonautica, Matthew has been successful in providing onsite ship surveys for offshore Clients, including basis of design documentation, maintenance procedures, and operational guidance.

Matthew's solid technical understanding of marine machinery systems and extensive involvement in ship repair gives him the credentials to provide valuable advice on a range of different operational and technical activities.
